| Two chances, two goals. That was basically it. Although if Moone had to have taken half of their chances the game would have been wrapped up by half time. Galhoy were quick off the mark when a long ball was played down the right hand side which was hit first time off the crossbar and the Galhoy forward was quickest to react. Moone took control after that and had chance after chance denied each time by last ditch defending and some good goalkeeping from the Galhoy No. 1. 1-0 to the visitors at half time with Moone left to wonder how so many chances couldn't produce at least one goal. The second half saw more of the same as the home side had plenty of possession and little or no threats at the back. The killer blow for Moone came as they committed men forward to try and get an equaliser as the visitors found the net after a first time ball into the box. 2-0 to Galhoy in the end as Moone will be left to wonder how they are to score after all the missed chances. Best for Moone were Anthony Hegarty, Mick Clowery, John Lazenby and Kevin Anthony. |
